Here are 5 reasons why the Cardinals will win the World Series

    1. Coach Mike Schildt

    - this dude paid his dues. He started from the bottom. His first coaching gig was West Charlotte HS. An all black school in the ghetto where he got them the first winning season in over 20 years!!!

He went from HS to the BIGS this guy spent over a decade in the Cardinals organization paying his dues and never had anything just given to him.

His players love him he is true leader and the Cards have great chemistry.

    2. Yadi

can’t say enough good things about this guy

he makes all his pitchers jobs easier

his grit and his competitive edge is contagious

    3. The pitching staff- there is no Gerrit Cole but collectively they have the best of arms

Trust me having Dakota Hudson out of the bullpen is going to pay tremendous dividends (yes I know he may start game 4)

    4. Marcel Ozuna- Is there a hotter hitter on the planet??? fukk no

    5. They are just clutch, and getting hot at the right time. Matt Carpenter is going to come up big.

Lets see what happens but I think the Cardinals will beat the mighty Astros in the championship. This team just has that look of championship ball club.

take that +600 and tell’em Lenny sent ya

    Fukk me.

I have 32-1 future so no interest in +600., i will prob be betting it all against them in the WS tho. Our pitching staff outside of flahery would get destroyed by either AL lineup.

    we shall see

    the Cards can hit too.

The Astros staff only has Cole and Verlander

in a 7 game series thats a lot of innings they won’t be on the mound

Cards can hit every bit as good as the Rays

Cards offense ain’t that good. Hope you right, but you not.

It would unfortunately resemble the year Red Sox swept us to break the curse. Only difference is flaherty, outside him and Hudson we don’t have the pitching to go against those AL beast lineups. Our lineup looks pathetic next to Stros or yanks.

    We miss hicks badly. Lol

Carlos is a head case, not cut out for closing. Be way better off if he was starting and they used Gallegos as closer imo.

One of the best analysts in the business Mark Teixeira just said the Cards starters are not very deep, and their lineup only has two sticks that scares him. He went on to say the Nationals lineup is very dangerous, and like me said the Nats would beat LA.

I dislike the Nats and I like the Cards but I'm not feeling St. Louis from here on out.
Hope they win, but I won't have any skin in the game, I'll just watch and enjoy.
My money is riding on the Yankees and I'm not a NY homer.

I had both to this point. I think cards match up pretty well vs nats but don’t think they have a chance in hell vs the al. The only nats ace I don’t like them against is Corbin, his slider will embarrass them if he on. That said nats won’t be able to hide their pen in 7 game series like they did the nlds, their pen guys can’t be breaming with confidence either! Lol.

I wish I was confident in who was gonna win the al man!! Cause I’m def going against my nats or cards future in WS, id love to fire now to get plus money instead of laying -160ish id assume once the ws is set!! I just have no clue on yanks/Stros?? I know yanks need to jump on greimke game 1 cause think that their best chance to steal a road win this series!!

he must mean Goldy and Ozuna

Edman, Wong, Yadi, and Carp can swing it too

Dexter Fowler finally got a couple of hits last game... hopefully he can join the party

Arozarena might come up clutch too kid has blazing speed and hit .300 in 20 Sept AB’s

That's would Teixeira said as well and he's 1000 percent correct, the way to beat the Nats is club that leaky 'pen.

Damn. I hadn’t heard him. Crazy cause sounds like me and him agree a great deal!! Lol.

Anyone who thinks cards staff could hold up vs those AL lineups is on crack!! Lol. And don’t think nats pen can hold up vs the AL lineups either., you can pitch to both these nl teams, just have to be careful to the 3-4 holes, the al teams are stacked 1 thru 9!!!

You think yanks huh? I’m so torn, they both so good but I need to get on one of them now at plus money and not wait till they both be -175ish in WS!!!

Teixeira just did a 20 minute spot with Michael Kay and was as usual brilliant.
When he and Hal Reynolds speak I shut the fuk up and listen.

what did he do before that though? 2HR, 5H, 6ER in the 2 games prior. In the 9th inning youre talking about he gave a lead off Double to Acuna Jr. to account for 6 hits in 3 games. Anyone that watched that series could see that the braves offense just wasnt clicking Freddie Freeman played horrible and he had one of the 2 HR off Carmart. All of St. Louis holds their breath when he gets on the mound.

I’ve seen him pitch great in the closer role but yeah I agree 100% I don’t trust him.

I would rather see Gallegos, Miller, Hudson, or Mikolas in the game with the game on the line

We would be much better served if his arm wasn’t shot and he could start. Much rather see Gallegos, fukk no not Miller., he won’t be that big this series, nats only have one or 2 impact lefties.
