    I'm now betting $12 a game and never felt better

    Fully accepted I am a loser and will continue to lose. I found an amount I'm comfortable with. Can still enjoy the games and have a rooting interest but not destroy myself.

    I started this about a week ago and the most amazing part is I found myself getting just as pissed off during the games as when I was betting 5-10 times as much. I guess it was never really about the money, I'm just a sore loser and get pissed at everything but at least now when I get buried and wanna kill someone my account is only -$50 or so.

    And Lafayette -115 is the play tonight. $13.80/$12.00

    Good for you, it's a testament to human stupidity that most people don't have enough sense to do what you did. There's nothing wrong with recreational gambling but if someone loses 20% of their paycheck each and every month to degenerate bets then it's time to lower the goddamn stakes. If someone is in it for the rush or whatever, you can get an even better rush by spending the thousands of dollars on whatever else that's not gambling.

    Good to see. Yeah I used to throw nickels and dimes around back many moons ago. Now for sports play the contest here, points and sometimes post up across the street for their small money contests. GL moving forward.

    I would get so bored betting like that. At that point I would just quit betting and just watch the games. You have to win about 8 games just to make 100 dollars. I would think just find something else better to do with your time

    I've lost tens of thousands of dollars in the last five years or so. I'm not pretending to be a winner or have a clue or cover up how awful this whole thing has been.

    I'll always love gambling and love sports and love the feeling of watching a game with a stake involved. Ive tried to quit many times but failed obviously. Eventually I fall back into it.

    I got a lot of real life/adult shit happening in the near future and can't afford to be an irresponsible fool anymore, financially and in general.

    Well see how this goes, but for right now it's doing the job and my mind is clearer than it's been in years.
