What veteran gambler knows these A, A-, B+ Books?

I am merely looking to see if there might be another worthwhile option?
    The kicker?
Tired of Clone-Books. The one's who change sport's lines more often then Marilyn M. changed her undies?

Are there any a bit-more independent thinker's out there on this list below? Maybe a Book owner kinda like bold and daring, Tony? Or, another J. Buss? Did anyone play with Buss'es outfit? Back in the late 80's, 90's?
Thanks a hug and a bunch.

If a book goes too far off market it's going to be hit by sharps and arbers.

Oh come on now. Abe post some interesting threads, he belly aches a little much but at least they generally on the subject of gambling. No need to be so vicious as to compare him to our biggest fictional writer!!

I bellyache when "Rules Are Not Followed!"
Yes, I have that single pet-peeve, and, I am right.

    Arber = Arbitrage player.

Not really gamblers, people who try to bet both sides of games with large stakes to make small guaranteed profits on each one.

If you own a book and offer odds different to the rest of the market, those will be the first group of people to find you.

If you own one of the hundreds of off shore books and do that, all you have to do is close shop with all that money and hope to hell that someone does not find you. A lot more people get killed in this racket thn most people know about. A LOT more.

Do you mean the line or the odds?

I don't think Bovada would offer many that are arbable against Pinny.

I do not recall seeing a situation where you "cannot" lose on an initial wager, meaning using one Book against another Book on one initial bet? I do not see that happening in these modern, cloned Books.?

Sure, maybe 20/30 years ago. They have wised up since the more loose, genuine, fat-wallet, "Wise-Guys" vacated.
Now hedging, that is different story.

small arbing still possible Vegas vs low juice offshore outs

Profits small now though, lines move too fast

NJ and PA you cannot arb because lines too wide

Have you seen all the negative posts about 1xbet?

One reason they seem so popular despite so many problems is that they regularly offer odds that can be arbed against Pinny.

Here is a Darts match right now where you can bet the fave at Unibet -137 and the dog at 1xbet for +178

    https://www.oddsportal.com/darts/wor...Q/#home-away;2

It's a trap though. They will just free roll you if you do that :\

Same match you can also arb Unibet to William Hill for over 9% guaranteed profit.

But again, that might be a trap for young players as well, as the Unibet -137 is well away from rest of market at worse than -200

Arbitrage sounds good, but loads of traps that mean it really is not guaranteed profit.

EDIT: Here is an example of a current arb you can actually bet as it does not rely on a bad line.

    Athletico v Bogota Ov2.5 -107 at AsianOdds and Un2.5 +110 at Bwin

    https://www.oddsportal.com/soccer/co...under;2;2.50;0

Thanks, OPT. Strange, but you say to watch the traps. I only look a 4 sports, so chances are slim, even if I want to spend the time [and I doubt that] searching for some free-small-money.
And as you say, free can have some hidden snags. Good to know.
    Informative post, OPT.
