    Baseball needs to contract

    Way too many crappy players and pitchers in the majors.

    Guys hitting.215 and making millions. Pitchers with garbage eras surviving only because too many teams

    I agree but you could say that about every sport - Too many NFL teams, there' aren't enough quarterbacks, too many NBA teams, not enough superstar, only 5-6 teams have a shot in each sport to realistically win a title most years.

    Sometimes my local high school draws more in attendance than the Rays do....and the Rays have a good team!

    I actually attended a Rays game one time. It was the worst stadium I’ve ever been in. Also, there empty seats everywhere.

    A rays fan once told me it’s a shit hole but it’s our shit hole..... At least the marlins stadium is much better, but fuk they suck balls...

    Yup. And for some owners in less popular markets, buying a team is a long term hold. The value of every franchise goes up over time, history shows. So some short term losses here and there will get paid off if/when the owner wants to sell.

    Baseball needs robot umps. Games ruined by horrible umpires. I’m usually a purist, but this shit is getting ridiculous. Oakland getting hosed right now on two balls a foot off the plate.
