    I remember watching a video of Peterson telling this story of his former Hells Angel neighbor, came in to knock on his door at 2am trying to sell him tools and appliances to score more coke/booze...

    This guy's arguments are nonsensical. When gambling is illegal and people are punished for it, normal people who don't have gambling problems stop gambling, but compulsive gamblers will take on those extra risks to get their fix. By having gambling legal and regulated people who responsibly gamble can have occasional fun, the government can raise revenue without raising taxes, and nobody has to worry about the Ultimate Bets and betisands of the world cheating or stealing their money from them.

    I think everyone should be allowed to buy 10 oxys/month, help with daily aches and pains. Will there be abuse? Of course but there already is. Treat it like Zyrtek-d, gotta show your id and only get a set amount.

    Same with addys for those days coffee wont work, and Ambien for those nights the addys are keeping you up.

    almost exactly 100 years ago when prohibition when into effect. sometimes i imagine the high it must have been for alot of people to be breaking the law for the first time. talk about hitting the dopamine receptors. i use to argue back in my coke days that if it was legal i would do it less. prostitution was legal in alot of places ive lived in the last 20 years and gotta tell you the thrill just wasnt there after awhile. turning down beautiful women all the time because it wasnt fun anymore, the hunt was gone

    Yep, same here. Did waaaay more weed when it was illegal, since legalization I bet I’ve been in 3 times for edibles. Its so much better these days and I have a lot less desire

    If I knew I’d get 10 oxys/month I wouldn’t buy 50 feom my guy every month, I would just be happy with 10. With that said, I don’t know why I can’t just buy 10 feom him and be happy, I feel like he’s gonna lose his contact and Im gonna regret not having gotten more
