    Dallas Keuchle

Of all the FAs that were unsigned this is the one that can actually make a difference. A legit #1 starter.... strange

Would like the Phillies to grab him, we need a lefthanded starter.

Disagree. This guy is making a living off one good season. He cant strike guys out, hes not a work horse/power pitcher...hes a control/ground ball guy and yet his control has been ass and his walks thru the roof in recent years. No thanks. The only chance hes got is going to an extreme pitchers park in the NL like Petco or Chavez Ravine

He is also 31 years old - decent pitcher - but not getting a long term contract - 3 years max

Probably the most complete starter in MLB

Hes the Kirk Cousins of baseball.

    HOFer

Overrate and fading fast. Velocity is way down and has no out pitch.

Where have he been pitching all this years? He is a good 2 decent pitcher - better then most overpaid pitchers 3 years $60 million will be a good contract for both sides - ( you don’t need 2 strikeout guys 2 be a good pitcher rook )

He helped lead the Stros to the title two seasons ago. Pitched in some big games. I’m sure one of the teams that think they’re a contender could use him.

Guy is good for 15 wins p year, 200 innings and a 3.50 era

    Thats #1 stuff these days

Even if he eas a 2 or 3 it's a guy like this that is the difference between 85 wins and 90 wins for a club

This is a key signing for someone

“The lefty’s strikeout percentage dipped from 21.4 percent in 2017 to 17.5 percent in 2018 (7.7 K/9 vs. 6.7), and his swinging-strike rate fell from 10.9 percent to 8.3 percent. His ground-ball rate of 53.7 percent, while well north of the league average, also represented a substantial step back from 2017’s 66.8 percent mark and from his overall career mark of 58.8 percent”

I dont think its he is a bad pitcher, its just value to cost. Guy is going to be expensive and probably does not have that big price stuff. and + MLB has been putting their money in the bank and not the players all year long

Guy puts up solid numbers in that band box Minute Maid Park - take notes rook- I’m not saying break the bank on him ? Because he is 31- but a 3 year contract is perfect .... he’s Probly holding out for more years .... every contender should try 2 add this guy on a short term contract

Well somebody called him a #1 pitcher and he is definitely not that

he could do well in a pitcher friendly park like Seattle, San Diego, San Fran, or Oakland

he would get shelled in Colorado, New York, Boston, Cincinnati, Arlington etc

He had a good year like 3 or 4 years ago at that time I would’ve called him an ace

he is slightly above average now, “slightly”

I can see why nobody wants him though. He is on the decline and probably wants more money than he is worth
