    Any Philly guys here? SugarHouse Casino Sports betting going live at 2PM

    I am going over tomorrow.

    Temporary location opens at 2PM today.

    I work about five minutes from Parx and am waiting for a Parx app. I hate that I can't bet while at work with my NJ accounts.

    I've never gone to SugarHouse, and don't want to.

    You mean the one they'd named Harrah's Chester that had to change its name to Harrah's Philadelphia to try and draw people there?

    Don't know their timetable. I was there once, and have no desire to go back. Another shitty area, basically felt like a big warehouse.

    So, SugarHouse will have an App live in the next few weeks.

    Parx not launching yet.

    The Turf Club down in South Philly will also offer live betting but they need a few weeks yet.

    Nothing on Harrah's in Chester.

    Penn National in Hershey went live a month ago.

    Ed Barkowitz who writes for the Philly Daily News had a tweet up about a decent crowd for the launch.

    Parx temporary book will be open any minute. It is finished. Why the fuk they are not working on the real sports book is stunning to me. it should be great because it will be three times the size. The Temporary book the tv’s look like they are on top of you

    Ehhhh. So the book is outside the poker room by the entrance you’d come in if self parking. More like a sports coffee shop. 7 windows so no wait. A bit disappointing but it’s the only game in town.

    Maybe it looks bigger in the pictures.

    Only thing I could think of as disappointing might be if it is tiny, but I see quite a few chairs.

    7 Windows, quite a few screens, looks good.
