    If Dall/Phi is close late, the Eagles will dread a Tie. Dallas should be happy w/ a Tie.

    No, pal. It's something I'm following, tho. People don't quite realize how much the new rules will lead to more Ties.

    Laker, I have one eye on the playoff implications. Think about how a Tie could help/hurt a team.

    I mentioned that a Balt/KC tie would really benefit both teams. KC would remain the 1-seed, and Balt would have stayed 1/2-game ahead of other wildcard threats.
