    It's Official Dog Racing banned in Florida

    Sucks.....Florida has more Dog tracks then all the other states put together.
    Major hit to the industry....all tracks phased out by 2020

    Also voter control on gaming

    why shouldn't felons be allowed to vote? the felons I know are fine upstanding people. it's a stupid law and should have been repealed a longtime ago.

    Used to work at mardi gras and flagler.......

    Frankly, it's good for gamblers and casinos alike. Not really worried about a breed of dogs only cared for cause of their exploitation.......

    My friends in south Fla rejoicing cause now resort casinos and sports betting might be on the horizon....

    The voter control of gambling means the Seminoles have a monopoly on gambling in the state. They do not need voter approval. So, when someone wants to have sports gambling in Florida, it cannot happen without 60% passage by vote. Unless the Indians want to offer it, then they can do whatever the f$ck they want. No competition means bad deals for gamblers.

    Seminole tribe is celebrating moron. The rules don't apply to them. They put in $25 million to get this passed. They and Disney partnered up. My god you have no idea what this amendment was about. Please stop talking and educate yourself.
