Cavs down 0-2 and still only +180 to win the series

    on 5dimes. probably a widely-available line.

    why such a small dog?

teams up 2-0 in a 7 game NBA playoff series win 94% of the time.

could the bettors be banking on the Celtics crappy road playoff record?

do they think Lebron will go 2-0 in games 3/4 in cleveland take momo back to Boston??

    hmmmmmmmmmmm

The books have been very stubborn this postseason to readjust their thoughts.

    Want another crazy stat?

    Celtics 37-0 when leading a series 2-0.

Doubt many teams down 2-0 will be going home as -6.5 favorites

ML is -280 and will be -300 if they win, so close to a coin flip they get it back to 2-2

Completely irrelevant, Giant. Those were mostly the bill russell teams of the 60s and early 70s, the bird teams of the 80s, and the 08 and 2010 team

This team nowhere near as talented as those prior teams

Ginats right about books being stubborn although the 37-0 doesn't really matter IMO.

It's bit them in the ass for the most part

Cavs definitely win game 3. Game 4 will be a battle. I’d wager the Cavs make it 2-2, but lose in 7. Series is far from over. Celtics needed to make it 2-0. Just gotta hold serve at home which I think they do.

Celtics have a legit shot at game 3. It'll be like game 3 against 76ers down to the wire. Far better team. Lebron played a near perfect game and they lost by double digits. With Kevin love having an above average game. Bet Boston -200 at MGM today

It’s simple fellas ? Boston is a terrible road team and should be 0-5 on the road - the sixers had to choke 2-3 times in game 3

If the CAVS get on a roll now at home and win the next 2 games it's probably gonna favor the Cavs to win the series.. BIG IF though!!!

Numbers don't lie like GIANT said in the above post.. Celtics are 37-0 when leading 2-0 in a playoff series.. Gotta think those are Bill Russel and Larry Bird lead teams.. Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett teams too. I don't put this current Celtic in the same light as the great ones of years past..

If this goes to a Game 7 I still like the Cavs win even in Boston because they will have the momentum... Lebron and company will dial it up. Playoff experience will kick in..

It's hard to imaging Lebron James getting booted by this Boston Celtic team.. It could happen though.. Celtic pride is a biitch!! I know because I'm a Laker fan from the crib..

I'm very hit and miss in these NBA playoffs so take my words with a grain of salt.. Just my thoughts on this series right now.. +180 on the series price now isn't that far off base..

Couple props I got my eye on if I wanna throw darts now..

    16907 Cleveland Cavaliers win series 4-3 +348

    16923 CLE/BOS series ends in 7 games +126

    16909 Boston Celtics win series 4-0 +850

Because it’s LeBron and he demands respect from the books. Also, Boston simply defended home court. No reason for a huge adjustment. This is plenty.

exactly, simply defended home court, did what they were supposed to do, odds really shouldnt be this high on Boston. only reason they should be favs though because of course now there are 2 less games to be played, they won both, and have home court advantage.

    Game 3 is tough.

Boston has already proven that LeBron won't beat them by himself & the Celtics players are clearly better than the Cavs'.

Not sure how you can bet Cavs full game. Maybe first hf. The fact that Boston has better players will show deeper into the game.

They were much bigger favs than Cavs, math on their part, but still perception plays into this and if Cavs had played two 1 pt losses in Boston then Boston wouldnt be favored as much.

Have you? The Celtics were the only team in the league this regular season which had a better road record than home record (28-13 vs 27-14).

The Cavs were a pathetic 12-27 against the spread at home. They have been over-rated all year.

Look at how they've been on the road since the beginning of April. Smaller sample than the entire season but their play away from Boston the last six weeks has been much worse.

Everyone knows the league wants to figure a way to get Lebron in the finals.

What's sad though, is that the Celtics would present a much better foe for the Warriors than the Cavs. These Celts are nobody's pushover.

you are making a very dangerous assumption that GS will win. they will probably win but if Hou gets a split in Oakland, look out
