    Why on God’s green earth

Would someone in 2017 fund a sportsbook account via CC? And don’t say some people don’t have any other opinions.

That’s like someone saying they are a successful gambler and then asking for money to pay an electric bill. No?

it shouldnt matter how someone funds a book, if the book wants to offer that method they should protect the info swapped during the transaction

Depositing with credit card is actually a smart way to deposit. You get protections from your bank if Fraud happens. You get rewards (assuming you have a decent cc) and there are little to no fees and deposits are instant. Bitcoin takes ages to confirm and has very high fees. Seems like a viable option to me.

I guess whatever works but I'm more surprised any books offer the option anymore.

Prefer CC, like stud above said. Just make sure you have the funds to pay back your card right away.
Some books won't take because the bank issuer won't go foreign.

instant d e p o sit method. Unlike BTC where they leave you holding your kawk waiting for confirmations and bend you over on fees. CC gives rewards and protects against any fraud charges.

Then why am I hearing more & more about problems associated with this? Seems like with all the options now is it really worth the risk for rewards?

But they aren’t from what I’ve read has been the major complaint on this. Thus, why take a chance?

thats not the question to ask bg. shouldnt it be "why offer the method" if it should be on the book to protect client information?

but to answer your question, you take the chance because of the protection offered on ************. dispute the fradulent charges, cancel the card if you wish, and move on. its a pain in the ass, but its an easy way to deposit and the problems can be solved relatively easily.

I used to do P 2 P until they cut me off. Bitcoin takes too long to deposit. CC is the best way left for me .

Yeah, it’s easier than other methods to deposit for sure Sam, but even if one is protected it still seems such a royal pain in the ass with all the problems I’ve read. Why even risk it. It’s a major pain in the ass especially if you use a card that’s hooked up to other accounts ( non sportsbooks) then you have to cancel them and add on new card. I don’t know.

P2P actually cheaper and faster than bitcoin now. I thought the days of sending money to someone with 5 different names was over. That's all I use now. Bitcoin is awful.

Yup, I'm funding books with CC's when I need too now.. Out on bitcoin and all their fees, delays, rate fluctuations, etc.....

You also get hit with small fees when using your cc's but it is instant funding if you are trying to get bets in.. No other method is instant funding like CC's....

Just monitor your CC after you fund your book or books for a while.. Or even cancel your CC once the charge goes thru after a couple days..Get a new card with a new number in the mail.. No biggie...

I don't make deposits often so I'll just use my CC... I'll use one card and will keep an eye on it..

Please explain the other options to me.

I'm not going to pay ridiculous premiums to buy Bitcoin from an exchange.

So if I don't have any Bitcoin how should I fund my account?

You can even call your CC company and ask for a line reduction.. Maybe $300 or $500 will be your new limit or what every you plan on depositing into you books month to month... That will cut out CC fraud and you don't have to worry about it ever, because your CC will be maxed out... Designate one of your CC's to funding books. Good way to regulate and control your spending habits as well month to month if you are a degenerate gambling junkie.....

I'm convinced no one should be depositing via BitCoin. That is an investment piece. Sportsbooks are just greedy by taking BitCoins for deposits. That is not what BitCoins was meant to be used for.

Who gives a shit? That's why you use a credit card because you have 6 months to claim fraud.

M*********** tried to run a fraud on my AmEx card. I had a brand new card the next day and they reversed the charges. Only took 1 phone call.

Sometimes you can miss fraud charges on your statements if you have several cards and charge alot... I've probably missed fraud charges over the years and paid them anyways just because I didn't see or recognize them..

I'm more careful these days. Disputing card charges sucks though, they send you affidavits to sign and send back now, it's getting more troublesome.... Not always are fraud charges gonna be cleared either, it's not bullet proof.... It is 90 percent of the time though..

I'd rather be proactive and not deal with it.. I use one card for funding books now and I will call in and lower the creedit line limit. Keep an eye on it..

Amex pal. They record the phone call and that is essentially the fraud agreement.

Amex is killing every other cards customer service, if your score is to shity to get one I apologize and you're a broke ass b****.

Seriously Amex I called at 3 in the afternoon with a fraud claim they overnighted me a card and it showed up at my house at 8 a.m. the next day.
