Donk - it doesn't matter how many guns you have. There is no defense for a mentally ill person with a weapon and the element of surprise. Anyone could walk up on a party, wave and smile at everyone, then unload a clip, killing several people in an instance. I don't know why we think we can defend ourselves in these situations. You cannot. You are a sitting duck. Police officers are trained and armed every day but we see them getting killed in the line of duty. What makes you think you are better equipped than them?
I haven't heard much on this. A friend told me about it this morning. The national news has been all Irma.

I guarantee you there was an arsenal of weapons in the house, thats the flawed logic in thinking having a gun near you or in your home makes you safe. He probably killed all 7 before they had a chance to get their hands on their own pieces. Every year theres a few dozen people that use their guns for the good of humanity and maybe half of them save a life. In 2017 alone here are the #'s
First 8 months of 2017:
-10,357 gun deaths
-20,794 gun injuries
-244 mass shootings
-1,361 unintentional shootings
-2,649 children/teenagers shot
There have been 41,655 total incidents of American gun violence so far in 2017 - an average of 170.72 per day.
Let those numbers sink in for a bit
Most of those stats, I am guessing 90% or higher are derived from inter city ghettos.
Just proves that there are more idiots with guns.

Nope. Not even half.
Unfortunately, we have a generation of people with mental illnesses. 1 out of 5 people will suffer a mental event this year. Give those people a gun and it's just a ticking time bomb. Suicides are at an all time high, especially with our military. 22 service men a day, 1 every 65 minutes are dying in our great country. Guns are the easy way out. Sad that we have more guns than people. I believe in the right to defend yourself with a gun but what do we do with 20% of the publication that are mentally ill?

Seems she divorced her husband a while ago and he ended up killing her and the guest at a BBQ she was hosting. What a tragedy. Why don't these idiots just kill themselves. Why do they need to take other lives on the way out??

Revenge. He didn't want to just sit around, and kill himself. Wanted to kill her, and as many of the people she loved. Especially the girls who he thinks talked her into it, probably. Then any guy around her.RIP

Mental illness... I've never understood how someone could think they love someone so much that they would kill them and everyone they love?
