Best skill player....Mike Williams by a mile
Biggest bust....Leonard Fournette injury prone, not tough
Wild cards...Ross and Mcaffery....will really depend on team that drafts them

So did the Bears pay Glennon all that money so nobody would see them trading away 3 picks to move up 1 spot?

    God this draft sucks actually.

Bears have already ruined it, almost impossible another team could do something as dumb as them.

Jonathan Allen is still available??? What's going on with the Bama guys? Blackball?

edit: now I see Humphrey taken. How does he get picked before Allen, Howard and Foster?

I really wanted the Browns to take him instead of trading the pick. That can only mean that he will become a perennial pro bowler. Well, since I live in Houston, I may need to think about reupping season tickets. Great pick.

Unfortunately for Mixon, he won't go until the 2nd day. Probably 5th round. He literally punched out any chance of being a high draft pick.

I'm surprised that OJ Howard is still available. TB picks him as I'm typing this. The guy is a physical freak at tight end and has the potential to be a beast. Very good pick by Tampa, their offense could be really good now.

He hit the lottery. McNab in his day played so awful but a dominating defense saved his career. The two other quarterbacks who went with McNab Tim Couch and Achilles Smith were out of the league in just a few years. They both went to teams with shit hole defenses. This kid has way more talent than McNab.

He is paying the price for his actions. He did it to himself and is lucky he didn't completely piss away his football career. I agree with you he has a lot of ability and if he turns out to be a player, he will get his money eventually. Might actually work out better for him in the long run.

I don't see how you can doubt the guy. All he does is win, wasn't always pretty but he finds a way more times than not. He played a lot of football games against top competition including torching Bama's D twice in the past 2 National championship games. He has the physical skills and the intangibles you want...seems to be a great teammate, hard worker, loves the game of football...really think Houston hot a home run here.

A friend of mine was a sure top 10 pick but got clipped for marijuana 2 weeks before the draft. He slipped to the late 2nd round. The difference in top 10 money and late 2nd was like $10 million over 4 down to $600k over 2 difference. He had a great rookie year but got hurt 2nd year. He was never the same after the injury and never got the big contract. He was out of the league in 4 years. Most of these guys really don't realize how fragile their careers are and how quickly it will end in the NFL. You have to take advantage of every minute because you never know what will happen on the next play. Guys like Josh Gordon don't realize they are wasting their precious years of earning potential until it's too late. I really hope Mixon can turn his life around and become a great example of 2nd chances BUT I wouldn't be surprised if he did some stupid shit right before he's in a position to cash in on a huge deal. Guys really tend to self destruct for some strange reason. I really think many of them are afraid of success, so they self sabotage themselves.

The Browns desperately need guys that can lead the locker room. Watson should have been at the top of their list. The Texans first trick the Browns into taking Brock Osweiler off their hands for some crazy reason. Now they've hypnotized the Browns to get Deshaun Watson.

The Chicago Bears and a Mitchell Trubisky mystery

If anybody tells you they're sure Mitchell Trubisky will fail to turn into a superstar with the Bears, they're lying.
On the other hand, if anybody tells you they're sure Mitchell Trubisky is guaranteed to thrive in Chicago, they're fibbing too.

We know precious little about the player the Bears just traded up to grab with the No. 2 pick in the 2017 NFL draft. Of course, this is true of most draft picks -- but it's drastically more so the case for the North Carolina product.

There's a reasonable case to be argued that the Bears made a smart decision in drafting Trubisky and a similarly fair case suggesting they're foolish to do so. By running through the pros and cons of this pick, you can decide whether you think Chicago finally has found its franchise quarterback.

In the case of Trubisky, your opinion is probably as good as anybody else's in the NFL.
