    Betonline screwing me out of $300

    I placed a live bet on the San Jose Sharks for EVEN money when the game was 1-0 Detroit Red Wings last night. Betonline paid me out last night and everything was cool. I wake up this morning and the $300 is gone and the bet is cancelled. I called them and they said the wager team determined that by the time my live bet was placed, San Jose scored 2 goals, the score was 2-1, and by that time the odds had completely flipped. Please tell me this is the biggest crock of crap ever and I'm not gonna get screwed like this. I was watching the game live and know the score was 1-0 still and San Jose hadn't even scored 1 goal yet, let alone 2. I have a picture of an accepted wager at 10:09:44 PM so if anybody can shed any light on this either way I would appreciate it. I know for a fact the score was 1-0 when I placed it, now I just have to be able to prove it apparently.

    It makes zero sense that they would still have that live bet still up after 2 more goals are scored. Those lines change in seconds. Unless those 2 goals were scored within seconds of each other.

    Central Standard Time. Their software isn't that horrible where I would still be getting even money after 2 goals were scored. I am really legitimately getting screwed here by Betonline.

    San Jose tied the game within 3 mins and 10'seclnds

    Then 1 min and 30 seconds later San Jose scored another goal

    Hello Joshua, After re-checking with the Live Manager, he confirmed the reason wager was cancelled was due to a flipped price. Sharks should have been the favorite at the time you placed the wager. Unfortunately, the trader failed to cancel and realized after the game was graded. Since this was an error on our Traders end, I will honor the wager and credit the winnings only upon receipt of your response stating you understand this is a one time courtesy. If we mistakenly offer a bad line, wagers will be voided. Awaiting your response.

    he is a shot taker thats why. he bet a bad line and he knew it saw he got paid and got happy when they realized he bet a bad line they voided the bet which they should do

I was watching the game and saw San Jose outshoot Detroit pretty bad and Detroit was somehow winning.... so I hit an even money line for $300 on a big favorite to come back and win. The score was 1-0 at the time I placed it and then seconds later San Jose tied it. That is why there is confusion in them paying this out. They accepted my wager and offered the odds, now pay me!!!!

    The book is the shot taker; they figured they could screw him then decided to pay when they realized he wouldn't roll over. If Schwang17 had lost I doubt he would have asked for a refund.

    you placed the bet at 10:09 central time they scored literally seconds after you placed your bet yes very likely

    Agree. If a player makes a mistake and bets hits the wrong button, and the price goes thru, you can't go back to the book and say "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bet that. Please cancel it".

    If the books don't want to lose money to the players on bad lines, then they need to be sharper than the players.
