It all started after LeBron said he was the best player in the world......they didn't like that too much.

Doc Rivers said during the preseason that Golden State was lucky to win a championship.

On a sidenote, Doc Rivers is the guy that's actually lucky to have ever won anything. He sucks.

My guess is Golden State is going to be this focused until they lose a game. They're going for the Lakers all-time record.

He was just at the right place at the right time.

He's ridiculously overrated. He reminds me of Obama. Good at talking, but not much else.

    Nice post.

The "lucky to win" comment(s) definitely pissed them off (motivated), plus Steph was outrageously pissed the players gave Harden the MVP according to 'insiders' (and Harden's subsequent comments how he should have won Steph's MVP, too). He's sure playing like he's got a point to drive home, for good.

Plus in some preseason poll asking who will win this season's championship the Warriors got dissed/pun'k bigtime in it -- add all this up to their natural talent & drive and they're hellbent on making peeps pay for all their disrespectin' ways.

    Memphis sucks, too.

I don't think the Spurs are washed up yet though. They're the one team that might be able to give Golden State a series by going big.

MJ is at the top of the mountain as GOAT but i can slowly see the foundations beginning to crack with this Curry character...

If I'm the coach of a defending champion (which I have been many times by the way) I'm pointing out every slight, every backhanded compliment, ANYTHING to keep my guys focused and motivated. I'm even making up stuff.

Anyone thinking the Spurs are washed up is kinda clueless; Pop will ease them along in classic fashion and will have them firing on all cylinders come playoff time. Agree w/ The Giant... Spurs will end up when all's said & done as the Warriors greatest threat come playoffs (barring injury).

Nobody can beat the warriors by going big...if Memphis couldn't do it last year...no one will. The sole reason Spurs have a shot against the warriors is Kawhi.

Spurs are too slow. They can compete with state but they will wear out during the latter stages of games.

Memphis lead that series 2-1, and they're certainly not in the class with the Spurs. Give Popovich six months to tinker around with Aldridge/Duncan/Leonard/Diaw, and they might have a shot. Obviously Golden State is going to be favored over everyone from here on out.

I find it even more scary that they scored 75 points before halftime...

EDIT: And scored over 130 without their starting lineup for most of the second half

Yes but they didn't the last time they played the Kings and there up next. But there at home this time so unless the spread is -17.5 I say they cover again. BOL to all
