If they are facing a sub-par team and sub-par pitcher, I regularly am taking them -1.5 and -2.5 on games. Winning around 2 out of 3 of the -2.5 bets it seems. Cards fan so I hate doing it, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a moneymaker this year so far

Cubs could start resting players soon because they made the playoffs.

Because when the sun doesn't shine in the summer the game is postponed.

Will there be a 20 degree wind chill for their first few games of the NLCS? If so, then yeah, probably worried about the results, except Heyward and Zobrist do help with hitting high velocity.

But yeah, I mean, if it comes down to the NLCS between the Cubs and Mets, and it is 40 degrees with 20 MPH winds again, it'll even the playing field quick.

But that seems unlikely. Mets might not win the NL East, so they'll be in a do or die game with Pittsburgh. We'll see how it plays out.

And if they win the NL East, they'll most likely play the Giants. Would favor the Giants in that series.

If Mets did win the wild card, it'd be Cubs vs Mets in the NLDS

    1. Arrieta vs deGrom at Wrigley
    2. Lester vs Harvey at Wrigley
    3. Lackey vs Syndergaard at CITI
    4. Hammel vs Matz at CITI
    5. Arrieta vs deGrom at Wrigley

Like the Cubs chances in that series thanks to not having to face Syndergaard twice. Benefit of not being a wild card team. Cubs aren't chancing that this year.
