    I'm honestly impressed with the Atlanta Hawks

    They be blowing out everyone from the east top teams like Washington to the west best teams like Memphis, clips, blazers, and so on. They even beat the streaking Pistons. A feat no one else could do so far since Josh smith was released. Too bad their fan base doesn't show up to support the team. This team will be scary to match up with in the playoffs

    I think you made a thread earlier this year about the Hawks and I made a comment and said they wouldn't even make the playoffs in the West. I will admit I was wrong. This team is just as good as the other teams in the West. In the power rankings I would only put Golden State ahead of them right now.

    Home court advantage in the NBA means absolutely very little. Regardless of who gets home court each team still gets 3 home games in a 7 game series.

    Why should Lebron try hard now when the playoffs dont start for another 5 months.

    Its pretty safe to say the Cavs will make the playoffs ... so Lebron is simply going thru the motions and playing when it is convienient for him.

    They have a great Bench and run the shit out of people. Mike Scott, Sheldon Mack, Schreoder, Antioc. They all hit threes and only shoot when they are open. Much different from the "Isolate Joe Johnson" days. Coach Bud has these guys ballin. Im hoping Eastern Conference finals at least but so many years of losing...I will believe it when I see it.

    Proof that coaches should get paid more. You pay a guy like Mike Budenholzer 2 mil a year to make a shit team relevant, and you pay a guy like Carmello Anthony 22 mil to make sure your team has no chemistry and no chance to advance in the playoffs.

    The guy holding the XBox controller has way more say on whether you win a game or not than the level of players you give him to use.
