Before JJGold this site was like California in 1800. JJGold came into California in the mid 1800's and the California Gold rush started. People flocked here in droves. JJ went on to start another Gold rush and left a booming town in his wake. I think some type of monument should be erected for JJGold's contribution to SBR. I'll see what Andrew can do.

I would never suspect IMG and JJgold to be the same....i still don't think JJ has an alias either. JJ was pretty stupid for the most part....but Raiders has a good understanding of numbers and stats and probability and other mathematical things that were way to advanced for JJ to understand.

All in all JJ was a good guy I thought...his days here were fun and contentious at times (well often I should say). I know he and I had our share of run-ins but he is a good guy to have around the fourm. Very funny in my opinion and can really make a forum go. If I were SBR i would just pay him to post....like the saying goes bad advertising is better than no advertising. JJ had a way to stir up controversy like no other....and I doubt I'll ever see such things again from a poster.

If there were a off-shore posting hall of fame...he would be there for sure. Probably the legendary Calvin from Covers as well. In my opinion, JJ and Calivin are probably the two most important and influential off-shore gaming posters of our generation. But it's always sad to see our heroes ride off into the sunset never to be heard from again.

But i want to talk about me dumbest american neighbor. He is sooooooooo funny he make me spit out my vodka many times each day in laughter.
I think he may be 'drinking from the wrong end of the bottle' if you catch my drift...
I was out getting some sun so my white body can be tan like the other bostonians here, and my neighbor... we will call him "jim" kept staring at me all day long. I seen his wife in the window a few times too, but I seen Jim all day long. He keep staring at me and I begin to worry that he may be thinking of my russian body keeping him warm this winter so he can keep his heating bill down. He is always broke and always pestering me for money because his wife no give him allowance. I start to feel a lil weird when he offers to do stuff for that money.
But he funny guy overall and Yuri like him lots. One time, I laugh so hard, he chased squirrels around his yard for a whole summer!
He dont know, but after 3 weeks I started going to pet stores to buy more squirrels it so funny.

anyway, me comrades, i wanted to say hi and tell you all how great it is to live in Boston and to give you all a laugh about my neighbor. Hopefully I will share more stories with you as time ticks by. I must go now, I have a friend named Lenny coming over to drink Vodka with me.

He did light up the board but before he was here the forum was 2 weeks old.

JJ can be hilarious when he is on his game. Part of what is funny is that we can't always tell when he is telling the truth or doing his act. I wonder if JJ has a hair piece?

Posting like that about books can be bad for new gamers who think they are getting good info in the main forums.

Its the same "problem" with all those guys - be it JJ, raiders, AK etc...
they all deliver some fun and action to the boards, i enjoy it from time to time.

But you also never know if you can take them serious. And they take money from "average" books. That doesnt matter on most forums, but remember this is SBR and many people come here for important and TRUE infos about books.
