    ESPN/ABC/TNT talking heads all said Jason Kidd was a home run hire

    Wilbon, Legler, Stephen A. Smith, etc. were all ejaculating over Jason Kidd as coach of the Nets and said how great he was going to be. Only guy who questioned the hire was Barkley, Charles Barkley is the best sports analyst out there for any individual sport.

    It was a terrible hire right from the start. There is no reason why they couldn't have hired Kidd as the Asst Coach and made Frank the Head Coach and teach Kidd the ropes. It would have let Kidd off the hook earlier in his coaching career and gave him some valuable experience on a good team with solid vets. Nets totally overshot here and Barkley was right to question the decision.

    Those other mooks just say whatever is going to win them the popularity contest. National media is a fukking joke.

    To be fair the Nets projected starting lineup of D William, Johnson, Garnett, Pierce and Lopez havent played together at all really. Dont know what the minutes played together is right now but its like less than a couple of games. But agree that Jason Kidd was a joke to be hired as a coach.
