Wedon't even need cromartie, milliner can shutdown Edelman and just watch Sheldon Richardson and Wilkerson. This d is the most talented in the rex era and geno put up 250 yards against a much better d in Tampa. New England without gronk vereen and amendola doesn't scare me. Jets will keep it close

Brady loves primetime. He'll find his receivers who ever they may be but I don't see them covering -13(5dimes). I think Geno will keep it close enough, losing by 10 or 11. 13-24 final score prediction. Honestly a game to throw a little at just for action.

Taking the under and Jets +12. Also taking under 37. I think anyone saying NE is going to blow the Jets out did not see the Bills game. Brady threw a decent 288 yards but has no TE options he likes to get it in the end zone.

I took the over for $200 and then a parlay for the Jets +12.5/ under 43.5 for $100 to win $262. If this game goes over I make about $80. If it goes under and the Jets cover I make $62. If the Pats cover and the game goes under then I lose $300, but I see that as the most unlikely scenario. I am not confident enough in this game to just take the Jets for +12.5 but I am pretty confident I will win this bet the way I have set it up.

I am a Pats fan, but this team is in trouble this year. I would not be surpised if the Miami Dolphins actually won the AFC east this year. The Pats are way overvalued and only manage to stay that way because this division blows. I can't remember a time seeing the Pats as vulnerable as they are now. Even when Brady injured his knee they still had weapons and went 11-5. Brady may be able to pull that off with this bubble gum and duct tape team but if they make it to the playoffs they will be one and done. As a fan I hope I am wrong, but as a bettor they have shown up on my fade list big time.

It absolutely baffles me that I keep seeing them in the top 10 of the power rankings lists. This is an average team this year.

This game will come down to special teams. Pats are banged up and Jets D is ferocious. double digit points are a gift - I'd be more interested on Jets money line. Jets still being defined by Butt Fumble, take advantage of that.

    Steve Ryan is exactly right.

People don't like betting on the Jaguars, Raiders, Jets, Browns for any price. You think that doesn't matter to oddsmakers?

    Typical Patriots betters.
"The patriots had a crappy game, now they are going to blow out the Jets"
"I wouldn't bet on the Jets circus for any price"
    "Bellicheck against a rookie QB"
    "Brady will get it done".
    "Pats at home"

The Patriots haven't been getting it done against big spreads. Pats lost to the Arizona Cardinals at home last year. They have injuries and are putting together a new offense. Bellicheck doesn't care if the Pats win by 40 points or 1 point. He just wants to get a win. It is either a Jets play or a no play here.

This is a short week. Frankly I don't know how these guys even play on Sunday and then have another game on Thursday. Forget the game planning and practicing, some of these guys are just getting to the point where they aren't hurt and sore from last weeks game.

Either bet the Jets or don't bet at all.

Heading to Gillette Tonight- Homer play inside

    Jets +13 1 Unit
    U 43 1 Unit

Buffalo D played the Pats tough last week, Defense Coordinator is a Rex Ryan guy, Pats will see similar scheme this week with fewer weapons on offense. +13 is a must bet for Rex Ryans Super Bowl.

    Pats 24
    Jets 16

It was at 64% when I made that post.

The line is now down to -11 all over Vegas which still isn't too bad because it's just outside the key number 10.

I know last season results don't matter, but anyone know where I can find the trends for the Thursday night games. The spread and over/under. Trying to see if it's anything that possibly stands out...

Who do you work for? The public?

You sound like a typical noob sports gambler (Or homer) who thoughtlessly throws his money at the fav.

The key for Jets success tonight will be double coverage on Brady who is running short of real talent. There's not enough talent out there to exploit his abilities. Edelman will be over worked.

What's funny is that the public sees it the other way where Pats -12 is too easy. There's just too many uneducated gamblers out there who only see Jets @ New England and automatically assume a massacre. The books are banking on it. I think we could classify this as a trap line. There's just so many variables that point towards the Jets covering or winning outright.

Did you guys watch the game against Buffalo? 3 turnovers by the Patriots, 2 which directly led to Buffalo touchdowns and 1 on the Buffalo 2 yard line taking a Pats TD off the board. 21 point swing directly caused by turnovers. Game could have easily been NE 30: Buff 7. I am not saying the Jets cannot cover, but do not count on the Pats to commit so many turnovers this game. If they play a clean game it is quite likely NE will cover.

I am with you on this LT but dont forget about Dobson and Boyce. Higher draft picks and studs in college, barely got on the field last week tonight they will have to be given the short of wideouts. Thompkins targeted a ton last week will be again this week had a great preseason. I am not saying the offense wont be very challenged to move the ball through the air but no one should bet thinking Edelman is the only target tonight. That is not true and this is Tom Brady.

That said I am still on the Jets and their foot obsessed coach at +13
