    im pumped. Took off work tonight just to watch this game. As an Irish lad myself I will be rooting for ND...that and it will prob be about 20 years before they play in another Championship game!

    Thinking under even though it just seems super obvious. Also likely playing the prop for a defensive or special teams score.

    Yeah thought the same thing last year though.. made a kicking live betting the under last year. Last 2 games have gone under i think..not sure of the over under 3 years ago

    Pitt got destroyed by Ole Miss (Pitt almost beat ND in 3OT at Rudyland), Texas A&M manhandled Oklahoma. SEC has dominated this year, Bama is gonna roll



    fyi: I turned 460 to 5500 this weekend with 3-0 in last 3 bowl picks and 3-1 in NFL playoffs

    It may be pre-kickoff but I think Lacy has already ran for 125+ on that Irish D

    Just like in 2009 with Texas, we've seen this 'great defense will stop the Bama run game' theory before.

    Milliner and Sunseri will takeaway Eifert in the red zone, Woods and Riddick will be hobbled by the 4th quarter and lets face it...the Notre Dame O line is decent but no depth....Smart will rotate in beast after beast to make their asses quit!

    And if you want to play the silly comparison game. How's this one. Michigan scored 28 points on a vaunted SEC South Carolina defense. They scored 6 on ND.

    Oh, and Georgia-- the team that had Alabama on the ropes, was tied at 31 against Nebraska in the 4th quarter. The team Wisconsin put 70 on.

    South Carolina was inconsistent this year and like many sec teams, don't play well out of their element and home stadium. Bama is a different story. They already lost one, if I were to touch this game, I wouldn't bet against Nick Saban who, like their own players, wants to affirm the SEC with a one loss season and national championship. Nuff' said. Keep in mind, this is coming from a Penn state fan who is from the south in TN

    Notre Dame time after time gets the benefit of the doubt by the media and public because, really, in honesty, everybody loves Rudy. There really isn't another reason why they would be in this game. Do you think Kansas State and Oregon would have gotten the same treatment if they were undefeated? I highly doubt it.

    Actually, you're wrong.

    When all 4 teams were undefeated-- Ala, Oregon, KState, and ND-- it was ND that was ranked 4th.

    ND didn't move ahead of any of those teams until they lost.

    What are you talking about?

    South Carolina took apart Georgia 35-7.

    South Carolina was 11-2. They lost to LSU ON THE ROAD IN DEATH VALLEY--23-21. They also beat Clemson on the road (The same team that beat LSU in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl).

    The only bad game they played was their beatdown at the Swamp agianst Florida. That's it. Where are you getting this "inconsistent" tage from? Is it based on anything in reality?
