Wasn't winning, drank alot, lost focus. A combination of everything. At the end of the thread it lost it's steam because I think a lot of members simply expected too much. In all honesty it was a truly great learning experience. From finding the right poker rooms to play in to beat the game, to the places I stayed & ate, I felt if I could do it over again I would be much better prepared to beat the game & the city. Contrary popular opinion I felt I had improved my money management & towards the end, even though I lost focus I felt I had better idea of where your head needs to be, to make a living on the strip. If you read a lot of my threads you'll learn, I am very disagreeable & I think I know everything. That trip showed me for the 1st time in a long time that I actually have a lot to learn in spite of learning a lot during those 25 days.
The 10 Lessons I posted at the end of the Vegas thread where from the heart & I hope if anything, they serve to help anyone thinking of doing what I did. I said I didn't write the blog for the forum, but I guess in a way I did it for the forum & for myself.
I don't know if Epic is a deserving categorization of that thread but maybe Round Two will measure up to that standard.
I don't know for what but, when Smoke says ship it, you just ship it!
