They suck, is it the pointless RPI thing?

This conference is supposedly as good as the "big boys" but can't really compete in reality.

They got 4 teams in last year and won ONE game the whole tourney. They never get far ever.

Somehow this conference is getting more and more media love without any results.

They gotta fill the dang thing somehow. New Mexico is as good as anyone and will be dangerous 2 or 3. Colorado State and UNLV are very talented. And no one wants to see San Diego State or Boise State as double digit seeds. Who cares if they don't do anything once they get there, they deserve to be in the tournament and with 68 teams not everyone is going to be great. As a above poster says I will take the Mountain West 5 projected over the Pac-12 5 projected anyday

That's right. Six teams if say a UMass or Xavier win Tourn. Absolutely put VCU in over Mizz which is to say they are the BETTER team. Ky would not beat out StLou, VCU or Butler for A10 crown, certainly not this year. THey lost 6 games within one of easiest conferences in country. The only thing I'll give you is that Mizz prob should be in Big Dance, bubbling in I guess, but I did not consider them as SEC, still think of them as Big 12.

PAC-12 has winning records vs every conference not name the BIG EAST and B1G.

Fair point they did beat VCU early on but I feel like VCU is better now and Mizz has not necessarily improved. Plus The last 2 times Isaw them they lost - Ky and Fla but the Fla loss they looked horrible. All teams go through there blowouts but they stank it up bad. Plus Mizz does not have good form in recent NCAA's while VCU has been stellar.

Several others should go before Tenn., I want to see them win at least one more game but pref 2. Too many losses in conference and the first 12 games they played only 2 were away, major advantage for tallying up wins.

I watched a lot of MW ball this year. I like New Mexico a lot. UNLV is average and underachieving given their talent. SDSU is down. Colorado State has its strengths but also severe faults and a horrible matchup in the opening round. Boise is good for winning a game I think.
