Well, So much for the Read-Option...

If the Niners lose this game, the read-option will take some heat in the off-season...

They had the ball one time. It's the first quarter. Hahaha

Not saying they will win, broke lenders is on them along with nearly everyone else. Niners might be doomed with the kiss of death

Not saying the this game is over...

But, if the Falcons win, we will be left with 3 of the slowest QB's in the league... (Ryan, Brady, Flacco)

The read-option QB's had the best defenses as well, so there is no excuse in that department...

    Just playing devils advocate...

Kap doesn't ru it as good as Wilson or RG3 IMO. and Seahawks ran it like 5 times total last week.

I think it is here to stay.

Actually, the only thing that looks like it is here to stay is the "conventional" QB...

The read option will be the Wildcat of a few years ago...

Good fukking god foldi, you're like a woman. Kap has played half a season and your ready to write off the read option if he loses a road playoff game as a rookie? Lol, pretty moronic...BBD certainly is right about you among other things.

Sad thing is San Fran is moving the ball on Atlanta the conventional way!........Falcons need to make adjustments and fast, like blitz more and not let Kaepernick take them apart, or the once 17 pt lead will quickly evaporate!

No it won't. How do you figure?

They got to the NFC championship game running the read option and are only one of four teams still playing.

If anything, more teams will implement it if they have the players.

This is the exact same thing people said about the Wildcat a few years ago. Teams will adjust to it and it will be gone.

One thing you can't deny, the read option is deadly in the Redzone...

There's fundamental differences that make the read-option more difficult to defend than the wildcat. You just saw one of them. Abrams is playing QB's contain and Gore runs through what would habe been his gap to contain and scores. It basically causes the defense to

I don't think we'll see much of it with other tewms as not many qbs are a good fit. Kap is a perfect qb for it.

What will be interesting is if SF and NE win, to see how bellicheck defends it.
