Big Ben is out... Byron Leftwich starting. I am big on ravens in this one too.

yeah the exact reasoning of most of the people that onacloud was citing

I half-read an article by chad millman on the subject of how many points different players are worth.

I think the point was that a guy like Big Ben is worth 7-9 points.

I disagree, he ain't worth THAT much.

Stillers have a good recent record with backups when needed, hell I think 3rd string guy from Oregon kept it close vs balty a few years back.

    steelers or nothing here

A lot of the forums wanna be sharps are all over Steelers. I just don't see it, Ravens are not good away from home, but Steelers without Big Ben is not the same thing. People say Ravens D is soft now, but so is the Steelers D.

Steelers win, Leftwich doesn't have to do anything spectacular, just not turn it over and hand it off 40+ times.

I don't want to say Leftwich is irrelevant, but if you're betting the Ravens based on that and ignoring what the Steelers' run game can do to Balty's D....

Steelers getting 3.5 at home on SNF against a team with a shit run D....and also a team they've owned over the years. I really think Pitt wins, but will stick with the points.

yeah I just really hope as a Stillers fan, that they won't be handing off to Mendenhall too much. now that he is active...

I like either Redman or Dwyer, but Mendenhall doesn't work well with the current stiller scheme

don't think people realize just how bad Leftwich is. wont be surprised if he doesn't complete more than 12 passes.

also on D, Troy is still out and Ryan Clark suffering with concussion again

Yeah I remember you saying that about Mendenhall and I would have to agree based on my love for Redman. Guy is a beast, keep feeding the beast.

as a ravens fan, this game really is a coin flip. will the ravens show up on the road? thats really what it comes down to... did the blowout over oakland boost some confidence? will baltimore have another 1-2 point win? always a great game either way. i never bet ravens games because im already emotionally involved enough, but if i did i wouldnt touch this one.

The Steelers will be able to run the ball all night. The steelers have a better o-line, better DEE, a little better at wide reciever positions. But no big ben. Can't put money on Flacco on the road. No action here, good luck to all.

    This 100%.
Though the Ravens at home are a different team...
I still stand by what I always say though, in that Cam Cameron is a moron and that his game planning is awful more often then not .

I am big on Ravens, no Big Ben/Brown/Polamalu = loss. Ravens have been bad on the road but they usually get hyped up for the Steelers. Leftwich will have at least 2 fumbles/interceptions guaranteed. Look for Taylor to get some monster pass interference penalties as well.
