2 reasons:
1. the expected letdown after choking at ND
2. the part i didn't see mentioned, so i guess it didn't get any national play? Tino "I suck in pressure situations and am afraid to throw the ball" Sunseri blamed the Notre Dame loss on the kicker. now i don't know how many other players felt the same way, but you are supposed to be a team leader and talk the talk, win as a team, lose as a team. would like to point out to Tino if his sorry ass could get one first down there would have been no OT.

No clue what happens in this game, one of those games where you can't guess who comes to play. Probably a sloppy, ugly Big East game. I'd feel better on the under watching these teams ineptness on offense.

Yea Pitt might be a little demoralize from last week, but wouldn't Uconn also having lost 4 straigh, getting crushed by syracuse, blowing their lead against temple and not having a win in the Big East?
Wouldn't Pitt be motivated and hungry to win to get into bowl contention considering their last 2 game?
If Pitt can pound the rock effectively like they did against a much better defense in Notre Dame, I dont' see why not.
Pitt usually plays down/up to their opponents level, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was a close game

Gimme UConn plus the three and a half. Sooner or later they have to play a good game. Seems like a Thursday night TV showdown might be the time. Pitt is the better team, but will probably be emotionally flat after ND and only had a few days to prepare for a weeknight road game. Intangibles heavily favor the Huskies.
