    AJ McCarron

It is easy to be good with his cast of characters

but he is the best QB Bama has had in a good little while

protecting the ball is very important, I think he is the Heisman winner if he continues to not throw picks.

He will make 8 figures in the NFL, hard to say if he will be a starter though

No more steady than John Parker Wilson or Greg McElroy. They makes a living carrying a clipboard.

If AJ is only one step above of JP Wilson and Greg McElroy, he will never take a snap in an NFL regular season game.

    sea ,

    perhaps you are correct...

but it is a mistake to diminish the worth of a COLLEGE QB by his NFL Draft ranking

    Internet scuttlebutt ...

If he has his 'usual' game v. LSU and Bama wins

AJ will be -120 to win the Heisman

Guys, AJ is a lot better than McElroy or Wilson. If Bama were a spread team, he would be a NO DOUBTER for Heisman. You have to realize that AJ has only thrown 8, yes, 8 passes in the fourth quarter all season. His downfield accuracy is NFL quality, and his decision making has obviously been groomed in an NFL manner by Saban. Neither Wilson or McElroy could thrown downfield like McCarron. (NOT EVEN CLOSE!)

As a Bama fan, I just hope he comes back for his senior year!
