Anibal Sanchez Total Ks Over 5.5 [-130] Lovely number IMO against the #1 strikeout prone lineup in MLB. Fister whiffed 8. Verlander notched 11. Sanchez faced Oakland down the stretch, striking out 8 in just 5.2 IP. His K numbers fluctuated a bit with Detroit, but he did score six Ks or more in four of his five starts to finish the season. He was pretty solid at going at least six innings with the Tigers, doing so in nine of his 12 starts with the Tigers. I think if he goes at least six, this is a rock solid option.
Thanks dude. Hopefully he pitches some stronger innings this time around, but you have to feel relatively good about a guy who didn't have great stuff and still struck out eight last time he faced this lineup.
Not finishing off batters when he gets them to two strikes. He's had plenty of chances, just not good K stuff apparently tonight. I think most nights there would have been 5-6 Ks by now with someone who had their best stuff working with two strikes.
Some win. Some lose. That's the way the game goes. I'd play a K prop just about any time Oakland is on the field and you have a capable pitcher. Just not his night for Ks.
this bet cashed 7 times outta ten. as EP said oakland leads MlB in Ks. sanchez threw a nice game just didnt have his usually nasy out away stuff. normally he gets more swing and miss on those 2 strike curves but oakland beat them into the ground. that was the difference
