The Captain just thrown out on a force at 3rd on a single into the outfield

Jeter's base running/defense are a shell of their former selves. His bat has maintained better though. Just wonder how long he will continue to be a huge liability in the field before he swallows his pride.

If Jeter wants to play into his early 40s, he needs to be willing to DH most games.

And as we speak, Jeter's defense allows another infield single.

Not much Jeter could do there with the Ump blowing that call. Jeter did the right thing hanging back. Ball was caught, and then dropped in the exchange to throwing hand. Ump screwed that one up. Almost gave the A's a double play with AROD just getting to 2nd.

For my under's sake, I hope the Yankees mail in the rest of the game like they have the first 3 innings.

Freddy Garcia is a gas can though so who knows.

Now go troll on another forum, I've owned your 5''6 morbidly obese ass enough here. Enough is a enough.

5 rings (will probably retire with at least 1 more) and his postseason numbers should put him right there after the big 4.

In my defense, play by play used these words.

'Jeter out on force on line drive to left field.'

Sounded like nothing but a hit to me. Besides, it was a chance to bash his defense. The guy doesn't make plays anymore. Yankees have to lead the league in infield singles to SS allowed.

Mikey is so sharp he can tell how bad Jeter is just by reading the play by play.

Give us a video mikey showing a run down on how to play proper defense.
