    Who Was/Is Your Favorite Non All-Star Player

    Mine was Alan Ashby when he played for the Astros in the 1980's. Handled many great pitchers behind the plate. Seemed to always find a way to get that clutch hit.

    I'd say von Hayes but he was an all star because the Phils had to have one when they were fukkin horrible in the mid-late 80's

    I remember all the hype about Jeffries before he came to the majors. Always wondered why he left St Louis. He had his 2 best years there.
