    Jim Rome now works for cbs???

    did he quit or get fired from espn. I saw his friday show and he went off on a few people and i was like wtf and he looked angry.

    He is on cbs right now and has a new show on some cbs sister channel now

    From what I understand he was offered another contract at ESPN but he choose to follow a producer and long time friend over to CBS.

    I just saw him on the Pre-Game show and he is good at what he does, but the move doesn't make much sense. Watching sports coverage on CBS is like watching MSNBC, they both have $$$ but don't have a clue what they are doing.

    guy takes 10 mins to say what should take 1 min to say on the radio.

    when I drive from PA or OH to Chicago or vice versa I often can only get him or rush on the radio in Indiana....

    I would expect to see a CBS Sports channel a la what NBC just did. This is just the first move. ESPN is going to lose its dominance because they have been lazy in recent years. Just like MTV went away from music videos, ESPN has gone away from sports highlights.

    Ugh, Rome is a joke. I remember when I moved out of radio range of WFAN outta NYC, it was a joke listening to the espn radio crap and Rome. Ugh, lunch time with Rome is unbearable.
