    ml's are a separate market from spreads

    why do people not get this?

    Yes and no.

    The smaller the spread the more likely the two are likely to move in tandem. If the NFL for example if books did not adjust ML along with spreads of 3 and lower they would be hammered by statistically +EV middles/polish middles.

    There are a ton of times when Blowdog (and other books like them) has a different price on their three way handicap markets to their two way handicaps. In a sport like soccer there are often situations like this:

    Team A-1 (+125) Handicap Draw (+220) Team B+1 (+205)

    Team A-1.5 (+110) Team B+1.5 (-140)
