There's a sports book in Cancun that's past La Boom and near the Wal-Mart and downtown. The place was empty but they take your bets.

High limits only if your a well known customer, straights on nba are only 5K, but the limit on the NFL can go up to 20.

Well I was in Guadalajara where everyone is white! Well ok maybe not, but the hispanics are lighter skinned in Guadalajara. And there are alot of millionaires in Guadalajara. They had cable internet back in 1998. Where I live now in Texas we didnt have it until 2000 I dont think.

And there are more than 150,000 Americans living in Guadalajara. But then again, there would leave 9.8 million mexicans

They have 20 books in Mexico which include 3 in Guadalajara. They have one in Puerto Vallarata and every major tourist city.

When I used to go daily in the 1990's, they had EVERY horsetrack better and dog track that they could get. One key thing that brought some Americans to betting horses there is that ANY BET made at Caliente did not go into the pool. So you get bet $1000 TO WIN on a dog for instance in a smaller track and your bet wouldnt affect the pool at all. You would still get 20 to 1 odds, it never changed.

And there were alot of rich Mexicans betting $200 to win every race on various horses and dogs

Some of the books are called ALEGRE as well. But same owners.

Baseball is the sport that gets the most action. Mexicans love baseball

I also have been the Caliente in Cabo. Let me also say that is the best one that I have ever been to. The ones near the Texas are not that nice, but you can wager on all sports and tracks

La Boom has been closed since a tornado hit about 4 years ago. The book is Caliente, which was closer to La Boom.
