    SBR Royal Flush Promo: Win an iPad 2

    Starting Monday, September 26th, an iPad 2 will be given to the first person to be dealt a Royal Flush in spades at the SBR Poker room.

    The below conditions apply:

    Promo terms
    1. Hand must be dealt at a Texas Hold Em Ring table. Tournament games do not qualify.
    2. Hand must be played to showdown. If your opponent folds on the river or prior, you are not eligible even if you show your winning hand. In the event that the community cards are 10-J-Q-K-A in spades, the players that play the hand to showdown will equally split the point value of an iPad 2 in the form of poker points with 3X rollover.
    3. If the above requirements are satisfied, send Sam a PM or email with the Hand ID/history.

    wrong read the terms ,if there are NO callers after the river card you are not eligible

    i don't think he means it that way. i think he means that if you DO bet the river there has to be a call and showing after the guy folds doesn't count. forcing a river bet would be a ridiculous stipulation.

    That rule is very stupid. You can bet 50c on the river and if no one calls you get screwed. If you check you still lose.

    Christ there are a lot of retards on this site. Let me spell it out for the people who are slow.

    You can have AK spades and the flop comes Q, J, 10 of spades. You check flop, turn, and river...thus it goes to a showdown. You PM Sam or Lou and collect your IPad 2.

    don't bet so the only way you can lose on the river is if you check and the other guy just folds which is really rare.

    If everyone does this every time then nobody will ever win it. Would imagine that someone winning an ipad would throw some points to the guy he beats or the people at the table (assuming theyre not one of the aholes around here)
