    Hypothetical MLB Trade Question

    Wandy Rodriguez pitches for the Astros against the Rockies tonight. In the middle of the game, the waiver claim trade is made and approved, forcing Wandy to leave before it ends. Would he be able to come back and pitch for the Rockies that same night?

    there is a rule in baseball that once a player exits the game they are not allowed to re-enter. this may prevent your scenario from happening.

    actually you can change a roster during the game ... it happens all the time.
