i know its early and i know there is still a chance of no season, but just a heads up that i'll be starting another yahoo league this year. last year was fun but we had a couple people slack off towards the end and gave some easy wins away.

12 spots with a 60 point per entry fee. top 3 get paid with 60/30/10% of the 720 total pot.

will prolly roll the outline of last years over to this year.

i'll bump this every so often to see the interest and then start an actual thread with the info.

damn 250 points! it was like pulling teeth to get 12 guys last year to front 60

unlike the other guy who started a nfl draft thread earlier, I want to wait until after the preseason.
We have plenty of time to pray for an nfl season and to figure out when is convenient for all of us to get an appropriate time to set the draft.

I had five teams last year. Its tough to both root for a player to do good and to fail at the same time when the season's end comes.

Why don't we do 14 spots with playoffs starting at week 14? Then everyone plays everyone once and then we head to the playoffs. And have a point penalty for coming in last so people don't slack off at the end. But count me in either way.

I would love in. I think the best idea would be 14 team YAHOO! league (60 betpoints per person), make it a PPR league, 1 QB, 2 RB, 3WR, 1 TE, 2 K, 2 DEF and 2 Flex positions (WR/RB/QB).

Top 6 teams make the playoffs with top 2 seeds getting first round byes. Divide the points up among the top 4 teams and maybe the team with the best regular season record gets 30 bonus SB points or something.

oops. yeah the copy and paste from yahoo didn't come over too clear. but yeah things like what CCI said ARE negative points.

and as far as fractional yeah it just adds up. that way every yard is worth something. which sometimes can make a difference
