    Scam Sports Book call.

Hello, while I was out, my mother said a sports book was calling for me, and they wanted to know my social security number, the phone number on the caller ID said it was from New York, obviously this is a scammer trying to get people. I never have had a sports book wanting to know my full 9 digit s.c number some may ask for the last four to confirm your idenity but is there anything I should do to report this guy in?

I'd leave it be. That's just me. Not too many people know I do sports books, and I wouldn't want authorities asking me why one would consider calling me. You didn't give him any info, and that's the key. Chances are they wouldn't find the guy anyway.

I guess that's true, hopefully no one is dumb enough to give their S.C number over the phone. Its kind of a dead give away though when it says on your caller id New York call, and the area code he gave me is from new york city.
