Would love to see future prop- Will Tiki Barber Have 1000 yard season?

I would like to see it for more than a year and a full season. It would be a longshot and I would say yes.

    It would cash

The man admitted he screwed up. I would love for him to prove the naysayers wrong. It's about his pride, reputation, and financial survival. He finished his career on top. I'm sure that he can still run for 1000 easy in the right situation.

I don't want to hear about his integrity with so many crimes that players commit while playing. He fessed up. It's over

is this a joke, he won't even start and might not even make a team.

Id risk my life on it. You would like to lose money i guess. He won't get 700

It's not a joke. How many yards did he run for in his last season? He had plenty left. He doesn't have the wear and tear of a 36 year old back. Less mileage. The odds would be long and I would go as big as I could on it. Give Barber a season with a team where he GETS THE PLAYING TIME and he'll go for 1000 yard EASY

He is too old, he will get hurt very quick

Injury is the problem when you get older in NFL

His last season was over 5 years ago and he's old for a RB...he ain't getting over 1000...even if he could stay healthy for all 16 games.

i'd place the odds of the op being baked are more likely than tiki even playing in a game

+10000 seems appealing. If there ever was odds, it might possibly involve all purpose yards

C'mon man. Even if the guy comes back strong like you think, lets say with Tampa, he still would be splitting the load and if he exceeds everyone expectations (besides yours) you still only looking at 700-800 yrds. Im pretty sure everyone here would love to give you odds on this.

I said if he got a sufficient amount of playing time--that's the key--it's possible

He may be carried on a roster for awhile. And that's optimistic.

Not sure he would be the main back, maybe the 3rd down back and at what money he expects I doubt anyone signs him.

If he got 20 carries a game maybe he could, but I don't know if he is even in the top 500 RB's in the world right now, he will not get the carries.

you guys are losing it. Barber didn't lose his god given talent from age 31 to 36. Not only that, no wear and tear from that time period. A man on a mission is someone to be reckoned with. He screwed up but this is an intelligent man that can not only run but can catch the ball too. Look at his numbers. They were peaking when he left

As far as I know Marcus Allen is the only man to ever play tailback at that age?

I've seen Marcus play in college and the pros. Why can't Tiki do it? He had a break. He'll be rusty at first but he's fresh. He's a lot more powerful than Marcus Allen. Allen was agile. Barber has more of a power game. He's been working out everyday. I'm definitely convinced that if he can get the playing time, he'll eclipse 1000 or he'll rush and receive for an amount well over 1000 combined

I also don't like when people say Barber's twin is a hall of famer and Tiki isn't. Tiki should be a hall of famer hands down. The guy f'ed up, disrespecting Eli and the Giants win when he leaves. That's all the more reason to come back and prove a point. Why won't anyone give this guy a second chance? Ray Lewis and Donte Stallworth are welcome but Tiki Barber isn't? That's totally f'ed up
