It is nice, and it's a lot safer than staying at the Del Rey. The Sportsmen's Lodge has never had it's windows shot out by a jealous boyfriend. SL doesn't have people outside begging you for money, or trying to sell you fake cigars/rolexes or whatever. I would MUCH rather stay at the SL than at the HDR. HDR is good for partying, downstairs at the casino/bar. The SL has a better sports bar feel to it. You can sit down on big comfy couches and watch/bet the games. It's an older house that has been renovated into what it is today, and I like going there to hang out, have some drinks, bet some games and watch them. There's also some really good restaurants in the vicinity of the SL. You made the right choice, Iwin.
