    The only thing Im looking at is Clemson's well balanced offense versus Wake Forest's pass heavy offense....Usually the former trumps the latter when two teams are otherwise evenly matched..

    Wake Forest's rushing game is atrocious.....Clem (+ whatever) for me .....GL all

    If the Clemson team that played the first half against Maryland shows up, Clemson wins easily.

    If the Clemson team that played the second half against Maryland shows up, Wake Forest wins easily.

    Both teams are coming off a bye week, and both teams are going to be ready to play. With both teams prepared, Clemson is the better team, they will run all over Wake Forest, they will hold onto the ball in this game, and their defense will shut Wake down for the most part. Now obviously these are all my opinions, so the opposite of everything I just said could happen haha....Lets just hope that's not the case

    Clemson's defense is talented and fast. Wake has a horrible line and a non existent running game. I agree that each game is independent of the one before it, but the fact that Wake's QB could not read Navy's D is an issue.

    Clemson is fast and will run all over Wake's D, IMO.

    Clemson does generally well when they have a lot of time to prepare for an opponent right? Just look what they did against Alabama when they were ranked 8th in the country and had all off season to prepare for them. Granted Alabama is better than anyone expected but they shouldn't have beaten up on Clemson that bad. Clemson doesn't do well when they sit around historically....

    Alabama is one of the best if not the best team in the country....and they were out to show it that game as big dogs to clemson. Clemson is a better team, Wake Forsest just will not be able to score enough points to get this win. Anyone recall the Florida St game????

    At 6-4, Clemson WR Aaron Kelly is substantially taller than Wake CBs Alphonso Smith (5-9) and Brandon Ghee (6-0) and he should come down with any jump balls Harper throws in his direction. No. 2 WR Jacoby Ford has rare top-end speed and No. 3 Tyler Grisham is capable of getting open working against nickel back Kerry Major. In addition, Wake Forest hasn't had much success getting to the quarterback so the receivers should have time to separate from coverage and Harper should have time to find them

    I'm trying hard to play Wake but I'm leaning toward Clemson.

    Wake has one of the best kickers (punter/place kicker) in the country, Sam Swank. He injured a quad in practice this week and his backup is a redshirt frosh who has yet to kick in a live game. I think that's why the line moved. Here's the story:
