    BETED/ECHECK Problems

    Hi there.

About a week ago i made a few deposits via ECHECK with beted.com (they use depositron) After a week of betting etc... i was up to 550 (after 250 deposits). A few days ago i got an e-mail from them stating they needed a ID, Bank verification fourm...etc. I faxed everything over to them and the next day my account was on hold. They said that the information i had provided them was incorrect. So i contacted my bank to verify transit #'s/Account #'s etc... which they said was correct (btw this is a Canadian Bank account at TD Canada). I have used ECHECKS at different sportsbooks with no issues and now they will not open my account. I offered to pay via credit card, different bank and neteller but wont accept it.

I was told to come here maybe someone has some useful input or can help. I also just noticed im not the only one whos havin problems with them, its a little to late now i guess.

    Thanks in advance.

Should be able to be resolved. Email your details as BBD said and someone can contact BetEd to see what is up.

Beted is slowly going down hill. They will let you bet 500 a side for about 8 bets. After that, win OR LOSE they just ask you to leave. I was down money there and they asked me to leave. Just better to avoid them altogether.
t_j I'm sure you'll get your money, its just slow as hell with them is all. But they will pay.

    Scammed by Beted

I've also been cheated or scammed by these guys. I placed two deposits $500 ACH which was cleared and verified and $100 by credit card which was pending form verification.
I placed a $600 wager on the Colts in the SuperBowl (-7) and they covered the point spread. For the next 6 days my account balance was now $1200 from winning my bet, but still restricted due to credit card form verification.
A few days past and I finally faxed the forms into them and within hours they sent me an email claiming my credit card had incorrect information or was over the limit, which was total B.S. I had more than enough to cover the $100.
They then reversed all bets and now I only have $500 in my account. They are using the credit card as a loophole to wipe out all bets, how easy it would be for them to do that to all the winning credit card depositors.
I was told by the account manager that even if I deposited $1 from the credit card and $2000 ACH or using another type of deposit, my $2001 bet would be void. Even though the $2000 cleared the $1 credit card failed the deposit.
My reasoning is since the $500 ACH went through and not the $100 from the credit card. I should have $1000 in my account because the $500 was pulled directly from my checking account and the bet was placed, only the $100 which they claim didn't go through should of been void, not the TOTAL wager.

    Am I wrong?

I just recently got paid (U.S. customer who used Neteller to deposit) after waiting over a month. I was calling and emailing them periodically and they were really giving me the run-around.

    Possibly in same situation

Amazing, I google this as this is what I now fear. Today I made a *************** deposit with my TD Canada Trust account to BetEd and I was immediately credited $500. DUe to current happening with online poker I decided to do some looking around about echecks and it seems some Canadian banks or all now arent accepting them?

I sent betED an email giving them the heads up that TD Canada Trust might not be processing these checks. I then informed them that if there was a problem I would fund my account with my **** or a prepaid card of some kind.

Waiting for response. I hope the transaction just goes through and I dont have to deal with any of this stuff.

Anyone know if they will let me fund my account by another method if the first one doesnt go through? I mean they cant blame the depositer if they auto approve you, they have to take some responsibility for it if it doesnt go through and offer the player a chance to make the acccount up to date $$ wise.

Any replies appreciated, Im kind of new to all of this bookie stuff as all ive ever done is play online poker. Hope for some replys.
