A few years ago, I got a check mailed, but I was out of town for a week...and when I returned waited a few days to cash. After cashing, it bounced. 5Dimes credited me back all the funds, and was very helpful...but you do have to deposit these checks pretty quickly after receiving them...don't go throw it under your grandma's mattress and expect to cash it in a year!
