Was it socialism when the US military won all the other wars it was involved in up until WWII?

We already had a booming middle class and economy before anyone outside of Missouri ever heard of Harry S. Truman

Capitalism created a booming manufacturing sector

We had much less social programs under Eisenhower compared to now

Where would we be without landing on the moon? The internet would have been invented without government

Medicare and SS are going broke, as is what happens with socialism

We've lost the war on poverty

The private sector can utilize the resources involved in the National parks better than the government

Nationalized health insurance, not health care. In many of those places, people have to buy private health insurance because of mismanagement of the public health care system

You can't legislate a living wage into existence, when the poor spend more money but no more goods are being produced, the price of those goods will rise

In most of those other countries, they have shrinking populations, as a result of the ultra high taxes that make it impossible to have enough kids to support the welfare state over the long haul

If socialism worked, you would see people entering into socialist contracts with each other voluntarily. They don't because what they really want is some free stuff.
