The Letdown Theory Does not apply to NE

Tough game with Balt which they win 23-20 and then have to travel west to play SD and win 23-20. Come back home and take out Minny by 10. Embarrass Pitt and then have to play Manning/Colts next week...only time they did not cover in a letdown spot. But were up big and Colts got 2 late TD's. Thanksgiving they eat turkey and dance on the Lions. Follow it up by exposing the Jets for the frauds they are so you have to assume playing a non divisional, non conference opponent on the road in the snow there is no way they can cover...yeah right 45-3. NE has now beaten the NFC North by a combined 109 to 49. Good luck GB, A. Rodgers or not.

How did Cleveland beat this team??

Peyton Hillis had the game of his career and he caught this team flat footed. NE had a couple of early mental mistakes/turnovers and they couldn't recover. I'm sure this game was Belichicks' lightening rod to this team about looking ahead and letting your guard down.
