I have no dog in the fight anymore since I was a SD Chargers fan, but I have a feeling Harbaugh is the perfect guy to turn things around there and maybe overachieve instead of underachieve.

That said, I do have a lot of Justin Herbert cards, so in that respect I do have hopes that Harbaugh will unlock all of his potential.
Herbert is just not as good as advertised. Let’s face it.

I'm thinking that as well. This guy came out of the gates fast but he seems to miss alot of easy stuff.

Chargers need all the help they can get. All they have is a promising QB.

I'll reserve passing judgement on QB Justin Herbert just yet. He's still very young and had one "bad" year. (at least by his standards). I can't wait to see what he does with a real bonafide head coach like Jim Harbaugh. Remember fellas, that bumbling idiot Brandon Staley was his head coach. That clown would have failed miserably with both Peyton Manning and Tom Brady in their primes and probably would have ruined their careers as well.

If Harbaugh hires good stuff to video tape other teams signs the Chargers could rebound next year. Imagine knowing what Mahomes will do on each play before the play is called. Huge advantage for defense.

That’s why they use headsets and QB helmet speakers in the NFL.

LOS ANGELES -- In his first interview since accepting the Chargers coaching job, Jim Harbaugh told CBS that he had talked to some of the team's top players, including wide receiver Keenan Allen, safety Derwin James Jr. and quarterback Justin Herbert.
Harbaugh said his meeting with Herbert left him feeling "a little starstruck."

    what?

They will still be losers. Natrone Means isn't walking through that door.

That seems to be the narrative around him but he has the most passing yards for his first 4 seasons in NFL history...
He has had 2 turd head coaches and been running for his life constantly under pressure with little to no running game. I think Harbaugh will improve the oline, running game and get the best out of Herbert....just my .02

    disagree.

    coaching matters.

now he actually has a bona fide superstar coach.

watch what happens the next 3 years.

Best available player probably but i could see them going OL, WR(Odunze since Harrison will be gone) or maybe Brock Bowers.

#5 is high to take a tight end, but they're saying Bowers might be the best TE prospect ever and he would add an element that Herbert has not had before.

They are also 40+ million over the cap and both Keenan allen and Mike Williams make a lot...both could potentially be cut so they might need to supplement the WR room. I'd keep Allen and get rid of Williams since he is always hurt and then look elsewhere on the roster to get under the cap.

Harbaugh bringing in DC Jesse Minter from Michigan also on his staff! there is some new blood in the Chargers system. this might be the jolt that they needed to get "over the hump". God knows they got plenty of talent on that team. Leadership and good coaching is all that was missing and the Spanos family seem to finally hit a homerun with this one.
