how did the eagles struggle to win? they held the #1 offense to 244 yards, about half their usual total, and 10 points. their other 7 came off a tipped pass INT return. the eagles scored 31 points, dominated TOP, first downs, total yards and won by 14. and the dolphins were worn down by the end while the eagles were getting stronger.

Miami showed they were a good team despite losing. Their defense played great. The ruby scrums at the end iced the game for the Eagles. Miami held them short a few times but the tush push clinched it. Miami's offense wasn't as effective. Credit to the Eagles' defense. That is why they play the season.
Miami were down by only 7 when Tua threw the int in the end zone late in the 4th. Who knows what the outcome would have been if he didn't.
Two horrible calls on Miami were the facemask PI and the roughing the passer call. Even the retired ref guy on NBC said so. Did that effect the game outcome? Miami got penalized 10 times and Philly not even once. (not counting the offsetting unsportsmanlike penalty for each team). 10-0 in calls? Seems strange that could happen.
Miami's O line is really hurt. They played ok despite that. A healthy O line and Achane could have been all the difference. 5-2 is a good start. New England in Miami next week. The Fish will be 6-2 heading to Germany to play the Chiefs.
