When it was 27-0 right after the Chargers touchdown score in the second quarter I bet the live odds were really good for the Jags. +2000 or something on most books?

The interesting call was the 4th/3 where they missed the FG:

    1) Jax declined the PEN. Didn't want 3rd/13.
...Likely sets up for a longer FG.
...Chargers likely to run there to bleed more time off the clock.

    2) Chargers kick the FG on 4th/3.
    ...Probably automatic for most teams.

    3) Do you ever double-cross the Jags and Go for it there?
...If you make it, you bleed the clock under 6:00 and are close to killing off the game.
...If you miss it, you're still up 30-20 and Jags are 80 yds away. Wound up being that after the missed FG anyway.

I hedged out live at -130 when the chargers were up 2 points near the end of the game. I waited big mistake. Still saved some cash though..

    Live to play another day.

They should have went for it on that 4th down. If you get it you kill clock and you can get a td to be up 17 and it's game. It's like someone told this guy you aren't allowed to go for it on 4th down anymore a few weeks ago.

Yes, Laker. I actually think Dungy was good in the booth tonite. Dungy was on point for those close decisions.

In fairness, I think very few NFL coaches go for it there. But it's an opportunity to kill the game. If you make it, you are going to go up 17 or go up 13 w/ not much time left.

Huge props to Pederson for two calls:
    1) Most coaches don't bother for going for 2 after the Bosa penalty.
    2) That jumbo formation on 4th/1 has to look like a run up the gut. Speed play wide is brilliant.

Of course, you look smarter after it works.

Staley does what he does best and chokes the game away. If I'm the Chargers I'm helping him pack his bags tonight and calling Sean Payton right away before someone else gets him.

    Gummer, you know what?

Payton probably loves idea of the Chargers:
    1) Payton has reportedly said that he'd prefer to stay in LA.
    2) Chance to work w/ Herbert.
    3) If Payton watched the game tonite...he has to be thinking How many pts Staley left on the board just on Preparation/Discipline.

Imagine what Payton could do with the weapons the Chargers have on offense. I think either the Chargers or Broncos get him and if I'm the Chargers I'm doing whatever it takes to keep him from going to a division rival.

i give him more luck than props. when they scored a td in the third an extra point makes it 30-21. instead he goes for 2 and they are down 30-20 and looking at overtime with a td and field goal. even the kicker said as much after the game. then when they score and its 30-26, he goes for 2 again. they get it, but if they don't they are down 4 instead of 3 and possibly game over. not to mention the 3rd and 1 terrible pass play that forced the 4th down call that has to work. not often 3 bad calls are covered by 3 successful plays. he beat the odds and won the game.
Not to mention the false start that had Bosa irate to begin with. in the 2h everything went the jags way.
