    Staley's Master Plan To Keep His Starters In Could Backfire

    He gave his Uncle Bob a few thousand dollars to take the Chargers when it went to +6.5. Might not even cover that with the starters in the game.

    The Chargers got a scare on Sunday when leading wide receiver Mike Williams needed to be carted to the locker room in a Week 18 loss to the Broncos that held no playoff implications.

    Despite the serious look of the back injury that ailed him, Williams is expected to play this Saturday night in Jacksonville, according to ESPN’s Lindsey Thiry

    Let's evaluate that decision after the game this Saturday.

    First of all there is precedent that when you rest starters you lose mojo.

    Second of they are not expected to do anything besides win in Jacksonville and that is even as a tiny favorite.
