On paper and if healthy, I suppose.

I wouldn't want to play them in the playoffs, they might represent a tough match up if they were to make it, but outside of that they need to respond to the season.

Nice list but, I am not sure about Cincinnati and Dallas.

For the Vikings and the Giants. They cannot lose to anybody not on this list and they have to beat somebody on this list to get on this list.

As a Niners fan I'm used to the slow starts under Shanahan. I think the problem right now is actually more with the defense than Jimmy G who gets most of the blame from a lot of different people. It wasn't his fault that the defense gave up 44 points and couldn't get off the field on third down against the Chiefs. They actually could have won that game if they could have just gotten off the darn field. I think this is a make or break year for Shanahan now that they landed McCaffrey but that defense has to get back to dominating the way they were before the last two weeks.

Yeah, I was also on the Jags that game. But yet again, the Giants only (barely) won not because they played especially well but because their opponent played like crap. Every team has to go on a lucky streak some time. The Giants' luck will run out because they just aren't that good of a team

How about the Seahawks? No one had them in first place with Geno and thru 7 games Seattle leads all the Nfc in scoring offense
the other thing, their ‘22 draft? Looks like one of the best in their team history right now

Niners Hack team got exposed in a huge way, They even got to play at home and still got butt rammed. Raiders played in KC and lost by 1 they didn't get butt rammed like Niners did. Niner fans actually think Kyle Shanny is an offensive "genius"

Only 2 teams. Bills & Chiefs. Rest are frauds. May as well load up on AFC to win the Super Bowl and lay 3 until they cut you off.

Yes, Philly definitely. Right now they are ahead of Cinci.

Bills and KC are significantly above the rest but the Eagles are close to those ...

    Philly is definitely for real.
You can argue they have the best overall defense in the NFL, Dallas too.

What's scary abut Buffalo is their run defense, these are some of the stingiest rush defense numbers I've seen in the 'don't touch the QB era'

Take a look at their run defense numbers.
It's 250 percent (give or take better than the league average)
You can pass a little on the Bills, leave your running attack at home.

These are just the top ten defenses, almost every other team not included really has no prayer. Basic metrics only.

Sure. The Giants are a 6-1 team right now, and of course winning each game is all that matters at the end of the day. I'm just not forecasting them to keep winning if they make playoffs. I think it's a mirage, just something that happens in the NFL because there's a lot of variance and not a huge sample size for each season. Some teams are better than their record, some worse. If they prove me wrong, so be it

I'm a lifelong, three generation, cradle to grave G-Man fan.

We're in a bad spot Sunday, trip to Seattle is murder, that dome is louder than loud, the intangible, Geno has a little chip on his shoulder in this one.
I believe this is the game to fade.

I definitely agree with the 3 AFC teams. The NFC seems like a crapshoot with a lot of crap teams. AFC will win the SuperBowl this time around.

When a young team like the Giants starts winning and they start believing in themselves that confidence can really carry them. I've seen it happen in 2011 with harbuaghs first year with the Niners. they were 75 to 1 to win it all and almost got it done
