And yet, for reasons unknown, it was all Danny Jones fault.
"He sucks" is all I heard. "He's always injured" is all I heard.
And on and on.
Joe Montana couldn't have quarterbacked all that, no less DJ.
You'd be concussed too if you had that o-line for three seasons.
Last season he came within inches of breaking his neck running for his life.
Now, he's got his all world RB, he still has a receiving corp that's injured.
The two main things are he's been getting a little better blocking, and most importantly, he now has a HC that knows exactly what Daniel Jones skill set is and designed game plans around Jones's strengths.
Today's Daniel Jones fun fact.
Entering today's game, PFI has Jones ranked second so far this season in 'roll out' passing yardage and efficiency.
That's all on Dabol and Jones.
Sure a lot the glory so far goes to 'Wink' and his defensive coaching.
The other half goes to Dabol/Barkley/Jones
Sure, Jones still has some flaws that needs to be ironed out, with this coaching staff, he'll get it done.
